I employ a holistic approach in my practice with attention given to your physical body as well as your mind and spirit.  I am of the belief that each of us needs to be addressed as a whole in order to achieve true wellness.  Therefore, my approach to care is to engage in a partnership with you, looking for answers and supporting you in your efforts to achieve your personal goals.

More specifically, I follow the massage theory of Neuromuscular Therapy. Neuromuscular therapy is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems. This medically-oriented form of massage addresses trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries.  This approach can be applied with a light, firm to hard pressure.
